Blaz started volunteering at the clinic in 2014, soon after he became a kennel hand before completing his Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2017, loving every minute of the course. He thoroughly enjoys surgical nursing, in particular monitoring pets during their procedures and recovery ensuring their day in hospital goes smoothly and your pet feel as comfortable as possible in our care. He also enjoys medical nursing including assisting in diagnostics to help investigate why your pet is unwell.
At home he has fair few pets, all of whom have been rescued including Larry the lorikeet, Nigel the pigeon, Charlie a crazy kelpie and Zina a feisty torti who he bottle fed as a little kitten that came into the clinic just a few days old. They all are used to having temporary house guests such as foster kittens that Blaz takes care of until they're ready for their new homes.
